What COVID precautions does Brightside have in place?
Effective January 1, 2022 The Brightside will no longer require proof of vaccination or a negative test result to attend our shows. In addition, we will no longer require masks to be worn during performances.

The Brightside may still implement COVID precautions such as masking and entry requirements on a per-show basis when requested by the artist. When special protocols apply, we will clearly indicate them on the show’s ticket page so that guests can be prepared when they arrive.

In addition, if you feel ill, are running a fever or displaying other symptoms, or have been exposed to COVID-19, please refrain from attending Brightside events. This helps us keep other guests, staff, volunteers and performers safe and healthy.

We have installed UV-C filters to sanitize circulated air as well as clean and sanitize the building in between shows/rentals. Hand sanitizer is placed throughout the venue.

Where is parking?
The Brightside has plenty of easy conveniently parking for your guests. With 67 spaces in our immediate lot and an additional 60 spaces at a neighboring lot. We also have overflow parking within walking distance. Here is the PARKING MAP.

What's the best way to purchase tickets & do you offer refunds?
Most of the events we host have ticketing managed by the band/event so you will be directed off our site to a third party online host (like Eventbrite or the band's website for ticket sales). Given that we are not responsible for tickets sales, we obviously are not involved in cancellations or refunds.

What time should I arrive for shows?
Door and show times are posted on individual event pages. Most shows have door times that are 30 minutes to 1 hour before the show time. Be sure to check your ticket.

Do you have food and drink?
We sell alcoholic beverages and other drinks during shows. In compliance with Ohio law, anyone 21 and older who plans to drink alcohol will need to show a valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID. Anyone without proper ID, regardless of age, will not be permitted to buy, hold, or drink alcohol.

We sell very limited concessions (chips) during events. However, some shows opt to bring in food trucks so be sure to check to the event page and ticket. The Brightside is also very close to a wide range of restaurants and breweries if you want to eat before the show.

* Please note that our bar is only open for shows and events. Each event allows entry at different times and the bar is only open during entry and event hours so be sure to check the event page and ticket for details.

What kind of payment does The Brightside accept?
We accept cash and major credit cards for tickets, concessions, alcoholic beverages, and Brightside merchandise. Artists selling merchandise always accept cash, but do not always accept credit cards.

Is The Brightside handicap accessible?
Accessible seating is available for our guests with disabilities, and both the building and bathrooms are handicap accessible.

Do I need an ID to enter the venue?
All of our shows are 18 and up unless specified otherwise. You will need a valid, non-expired, government-issued photo ID for entry and to purchase alcohol.

What is your policy about photo & video during shows?
Photo or recording policies are set at the discretion of our artists and change show to show. You may bring your camera with the understanding that we may require you to check it with us for the duration of the show.

Generally, we do allow point-and-shoot or mobile device cameras. We do not allow flash photography or professional cameras with removable lenses. No video or audio recording is allowed in the venue at any time.
